All this rain has deprived my sons of their primal need to dig in the earth.
Look what happened as soon as we got home this evening.
The sun shone it's sweet head.
I flung open the patio doors and out they ran... spoons in hand, searching for bugs.
Charlie found some forget me knot seedlings my mum had given us in March still in their pots.
So he immediately planted them.
Followed by drowning worms in puddles.
Racing woodlice.
And mud pie baking!
Ah... everything has returned to normal.
Happy 1st day of May everyone!
