Guest post - Francesca from Mrs Eliot Books

Hello, I'm Francesca from Mrs Eliot Books, and I'm sharing my London home with you today. We moved here a couple of years ago from a small flat and while the space was huge to begin with, of course we've managed to fill it up. It's beautifully light thanks to a skylight at the top of the house and an open tread staircase. Unfortunately that means it's noisy too so there's not much peace and quiet, even when the boys are right at the top of the house.

 This is the study aka 'mummy's work room'. I try not to work when the boys are around but sometimes I have to pack orders up so I've got some puzzles up here for Gus so he can hang out with me. But of course all they want to do is print pictures of Spiderman and pop all my bubble wrap, so that usually doesn't end well!

We wanted a yellow kitchen for a long time and finally took the plunge last year. It's a simple ikea kitchen which we had sprayed by http://www.siteworx-uk.co.uk/index.html. A really cost effective way to do it. We love it, it brings so much sunshine into the house, even when it's gloomy outside. I've got my little corner at the table where I escape to, check out blogs and drink tea.

I love collecting things, I've got some beautiful mid-century coffee pots and my teacup collection is ever expanding. I've always got my eyes peeled for quirky little things on etsy too. 

The cowboy wall stickers outside the boys rooms are by Belle and Boo, Mandy was my very first etsy friend so it's lovely to have some of her stuff around.
