Hello!
How are you this fine and sunny Monday?
Wow it is gorgeous here in Bristol - summer are you finally here?
This weekend I took part in the South Bristol Arts Trail.
People in the local area opened their homes to show their creative work, paintings, prints, ceramics, knitting, crochet, weaving, photography etc etc.
It was a busy old weekend...
I had my work hanging in the bed workshop, a beautiful space. An old Victorian pickle factory with white washed bricked walls and large wooden windows.
I was super nervous, but I soon got into to chatting to everyone and some lovely people actually walked off with prints, cards and postcards of mine!
The boys loved hanging out with Grandparents, showing them their own contribution to the trail at their school.
The main high street was closed to traffic and had an old fashioned style fayre, with stalls to win prizes and a stage with local bands.
I had a chance to nose around a few homes and was blown away by the local talent... I came away feeling very inspired.
I can't wait to take part again next year, I might even open my own home!
