The lovely Emily at Shipshape Studio has asked me to spread the word on their exciting Illustration and Design Forum, which is happening on Sunday 15th April at the Brook Green Hotel, Hammersmith, London.
The event is hosted by Shipshape Studio (I seriously LOVE these guys go check out their website), the Illustration and Design Forum is a careers and networking event for anyone interested in a career in the creative world. We know that the next step after university can be confusing. There are lots of different options open to you and it’s difficult to know what’s right for you. This forum should point you in the right direction!
The Panel of illustrators (Emma Block, Alice Potter and Rachel Lewis) will talk about their career path and cover important topics such as university, working in-house and with agencies, life as a freelancer, and how to market yourself. There will be a Q&A session where you’ll be able to ask the illustrators and designers any questions you might have.
If you attend you will also get a seriously cool goodie bag (I WANT ONE!), be able to buy artwork and their will be food and drink in the bar!
